Spending time outdoors has become a cherished activity during the spring and summer months; however, electronic devices frequently lose power by mid-afternoon. Carting around a bulky power station to the picnic area can be quite cumbersome, so the arrival of the Anker SOLIX C200 last year was a welcome surprise. This compact power station stands at approximately eight inches tall and features a convenient soft handle. It feels akin to carrying a purse, but offers power on the go. Weighing only four pounds, it’s easy to pack into a bag; currently, it’s available for $109.99 during Prime Day (down from $169.99).
The C200 also has a few other advantages. For instance, it eliminates the need to carry a cable, as it can be fast-charged in about 70 minutes using its 140W power port. Alternatively, it also supports USB-C, a common charging method found in many households. An added perk is its compatibility with solar power; perfect for camping trips where access to traditional power sources is limited. Additionally, it includes a car power port, making it convenient for travel.
While it offers a modest capacity of 192Wh and around 200W output, this is adequate for powering laptops, smartphones, tablets, and medical devices—essential items while on the move.
The functionality extends through the Anker Solix app, which provides useful management features. Users can set priorities and time schedules for devices connected to the station, helping to optimize battery life. The app also indicates when the C200 is fully charged.

This station features USB-C output as well, which supports fast charging and recharging. Keeping it near the front door has proven to be useful; it’s the perfect companion for outdoor activities in the garden, allowing quick access to power tools, smartphones, or small speakers. It’s my go-to camping power source and sits ready for use on the picnic table throughout the day. For a price of around $100, it presents excellent value.
