Revamp Your WhatsApp Experience with New Customization Options
WhatsApp is enhancing personalization features, allowing users to customize their conversations with preset themes, a spectrum of color combinations for backgrounds and chat bubbles, along with a fresh collection of 30 wallpapers.
For some time, WhatsApp users have enjoyed the ability to alter their chat backgrounds, ranging from simple colors to unique patterned wallpapers and personal images from their photo collections. Now, this customization extends to chat bubbles, offering default themes that harmonize background and bubble colors. These can be tailored for individual conversations or applied to every chat for a unified aesthetic.
According to an official announcement from WhatsApp, these chat themes are being gradually introduced, with full availability expected for all users in the upcoming weeks.
Changing Chat Themes on WhatsApp
To set a theme for all your chats, navigate to Settings > Chats > Default chat theme. If you wish to choose a specific theme for an individual chat, open that conversation and tap on the chat name (on iOS) or the three vertical dots (on Android) located at the top of your screen, then select Chat theme. This menu also allows you to alter the chat wallpaper.
If you do not notice these options, the feature might not be available to your account yet. Make sure to update your app to the latest version for the best experience.
Additionally, WhatsApp has recently introduced features that allow users to invite specific members to participate in video calls, along with new visual effects to enhance those calls.
