Discover the JBL Tour Pro 3: Earbuds at Unbeatable Prices
Currently available at a record low of $249.95, down from the regular price of $299.95, the JBL Tour Pro 3 earbuds are designed for durability, boasting an IP55 rating. These stylish earbuds come in two elegant color options: black and latte.
With a selection of six pairs of ear tips, including a foam option, these earbuds promise a comfortable fit. Although they typically remain secure, reviews suggest they may occasionally slip off during vigorous workouts, which could be a drawback for active users. The battery life is impressive, offering up to seven hours with active noise cancellation (ANC) enabled, extending to 11 hours without it, along with a total of three additional charges from the case, allowing for 28 to 44 hours of usage depending on whether ANC is switched on or off.
Utilizing Bluetooth 5.3 for seamless connectivity, the earbuds are compatible with Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, and provide Bluetooth multipoint pairing for up to three devices. Enhancing the listener experience is Auracast, a pioneering technology that streams audio to multiple Bluetooth devices simultaneously, as highlighted in a PCMag review. Supporting high-resolution audio, these earbuds accommodate LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs, delivering a frequency response range from 20Hz to 40kHz. Each earbud is equipped with dual drivers—a 10.2mm dynamic driver alongside a 5.1×2.8mm balanced armature—ensuring an outstanding audio experience with deep bass and clear highs. While the ANC performance of the Tour Pro 3 is commendable, it does not quite match the leading standard set by the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds, which retail for $299 and excel in minimizing high-frequency sounds.
The charging case is equipped with a touch display, allowing users to manage music playback, adjust equalizer (EQ) settings, and toggle ANC modes effortlessly—no need to reach for a smartphone. An innovative aspect of the case is its ability to operate as a Bluetooth transmitter, enabling audio streaming from non-Bluetooth devices, such as in-flight entertainment systems, through the included USB cable or a 3.5mm-to-USB-C adapter. The companion app enhances user experience, offering a comprehensive set of controls, including ANC customization, on-ear control adjustments, and EQ management. Users can choose from six preset EQ options or create a personalized EQ using JBL’s adjustable tools. The app also allows for the activation or deactivation of spatial audio and fine-tuning of call settings, such as EQ adjustments for incoming audio and optimization of microphone performance.
