Transform Your Spotify Experience with Liked Songs Manager
Having an eclectic mix in a Spotify liked songs playlist can be a double-edged sword; while it showcases diverse tastes, playing it on shuffle may result in a jarring experience due to its varying genres and moods. Fortunately, there is a solution: Liked Songs Manager—an innovative online platform that organizes your favorite tracks into curated playlists according to your preferences, such as genre, decade, or mood.
To embark on this journey, visit Liked Songs Manager and log in with your Spotify credentials. Once logged in, a variety of criteria will appear, allowing you to start forming playlists. It’s advisable to first select the Analyze songs per playlists option at the top. This feature reveals the counts of songs in your liked list across different categories, providing insight into how you might want to sort them. Explore the categories and make selections for playlists that pique your interest.

Primary categories for sorting include mood, genre, subgenre, decade, and nationality. Additionally, you can categorize playlists based on the date you liked the songs or even generate completely random selections. There are no limits on how many playlists can be created—simply click the Create selected playlists button. A progress indicator will appear while your playlists are being generated, and they should sync to Spotify almost immediately, although reopening the app may be necessary to view them.
One of the standout features of this service is its ongoing management of your playlists. As you continue to add new liked songs, they will automatically be organized into the existing playlists, enriching your curated collections effortlessly simply by selecting a track you enjoy. It’s also possible to rename your playlists to better reflect your musical mood while ensuring that the ongoing updates remain intact.
However, prospective users should be aware of certain limitations. The free version permits the creation of only 15 playlists and considers just the first 1000 liked songs. Upgrading to the Premium plan, available for $8 monthly, expands the limits, allowing for up to 100 playlists and unlimited liked songs. This paid version also features the ability to combine specified criteria, enabling the creation of tailored lists like ’90s pop-punk or early 2000s hip-hop.
