How to Play Quordle
Quordle can be accessed here on the Merriam-Webster website, where a fresh puzzle is released daily.
For newcomers, this game presents an intriguing variation of the daily Wordle challenge by the New York Times. Instead of attempting to guess just one five-letter word within a set number of tries, players tackle four Wordle-style puzzles simultaneously. Each guess impacts all four puzzles at once. To accommodate the added difficulty, Quordle allows nine attempts (or 12 in “Chill” mode, and eight in “Extreme” mode”), contrasting with the six attempts granted in Wordle.
Begin by guessing a five-letter word. In each of the four sections, letters will turn green if they are in the correct spot, yellow if the letter is in the word but misplaced, and gray if it does not belong to any of the secret words.

Strategy for Solving Today’s Quordle
The guess SLATE suggested that three out of the four words ended with E. Great! Next, attempting PRUNE brought me closer. CRONE fit perfectly in the bottom left. Could JOULE work for the bottom right? Almost there. Trying THING for the upper left was a close call. How about THINK? Bingo! It appears the top right has a repeated letter, so I guessed BELLE. To my surprise, it was correct.
This deduction means the final word for the bottom right is BOULE.
