Understanding Quordle
You can find Quordle here. A new puzzle is released daily.
This game offers a unique twist on the classic Wordle format from The New York Times. Instead of guessing a single five-letter word, players tackle four puzzles at once. Each guess affects all four simultaneously, making it a bit more challenging. Quordle allows nine guesses (or twelve in “Chill” mode and eight in “Extreme” mode”), which is an increase from Wordle’s six attempts.
The game starts with a five-letter word. Each letter is coded: green indicates a correct letter in the right position, yellow signifies the correct letter in the wrong position, and gray shows that the letter is absent from the word.

Approach to Today’s Quordle
Starting with the word SLATE provided some essential insights. Next, the guess for bottom left was PLAZA—but that didn’t work. Then came MOUND, which revealed more vowels, bringing me closer. A leap to JOIST for the bottom right was nearly there. Testing BOOST failed, but finally hitting WORST was a triumph!
At this stage, only three words remained with three guesses left. There was a hunch that the upper right might be SYRUP—success!
Continuing the momentum with FLACK for the lower left brought another victory. It seemed promising that the last word would be FUGUE, and indeed it was!
