Understanding Quordle
Quordle can be found here on the Merriam-Webster website, where a fresh challenge appears daily.
For newcomers, this game is a variation of the popular Wordle from the New York Times, where players have a limited number of guesses to unearth a five-letter word. In Quordle, the twist is that you tackle four interconnected Wordle puzzles simultaneously. Each guess applies to all four, adding complexity. You receive nine attempts, or twelve in “Chill” mode, and only eight in “Extreme” mode, as opposed to Wordle’s six.
To begin, propose a five-letter word. Letters in each of the four sections will signal their status: green for correct, yellow for the right letter in the wrong position, and gray if the letter is absent from the secret word.
Now, let’s dive into the hints!

My Approach to Solving Today’s Quordle
Starting with the word “SLATE” provided useful insights. Next, I ventured “SCORN” for the bottom right but needed more adjustments.
For the upper left, “PLEBE” seemed like it could fit, giving clues but not complete certainty. I pondered “ELUDE,” and it clicked!
For the bottom right, I guessed “SHOWS” but found no match. “SMOKY” was the winning choice.
Finally, the upper right almost solved itself with a guess of “KHAKI.”
