Understanding How to Play Quordle
Quordle can be found here on the Merriam-Webster website, where a fresh puzzle is served daily.
If this is your first encounter, Quordle offers a twist on the popular Wordle by asking players to tackle four five-letter puzzles at once. Unlike the original, where you have six tries to guess a single word, Quordle provides either nine attempts, 12 in “Chill” mode, or eight in “Extreme” mode, reflecting the greater challenge it presents.
To start playing, enter a five-letter word. In each of the four sections, letters will display in green if positioned correctly, yellow for letters in the wrong spot, and gray if they are not part of the answer.

Approach to Solving Today’s Quordle
The journey begins with the word SLATE, followed by attempting CLEAT in the upper left, but only the C is incorrect. Next, trying PLEAT yields no success. Finally, BLEAT fits perfectly, although many guesses were used without revealing any letters for the upper right puzzle.
Aiming for the bottom right, SPICY was a close call. Then, SCOOP emerged as the answer!
The bottom left was filled with ASIDE, which worked excellently.
For the upper right, a guess of ROWDY seemed plausible. However, discovering HOWDY was the final breakthrough!
