If you’re unfamiliar with Prime Day, we have a comprehensive guide on everything to get you started. Prices are current as of this publication, but keep in mind that they may fluctuate.
For those who have been holding back on purchasing earbuds priced under $60, Prime Day has introduced a promising choice at its lowest recorded price (as per price-tracking tools). Samsung’s Galaxy Buds FE are now priced at $52.24, down from $99.99. While they may not offer every feature one could hope for, they closely align with consumer expectations, particularly for individuals within the Samsung universe. With solid active noise cancellation (ANC) performance, impactful bass, and reliable call quality for everyday use, these earbuds deliver substantial value.
While the Galaxy Buds FE might not have advanced features like multipoint connection or wireless charging, their IPX2 water-resistance rating limits them for light rain and minimal splashes (not suitable for intensive workouts). However, battery longevity is commendable, providing approximately 6 hours with ANC enabled, plus an additional 21 hours from the case. While the touch controls may take some getting used to, accidental activations can still occur. Although there’s no customized equalizer within the Samsung Wearables app, it does offer enough presets for casual listening. Please note, the app is exclusively for Android. iPhone users can connect via Bluetooth, but access to most features will be limited.
Galaxy device users will appreciate the seamless integration offered. With Auto Switch, transitioning between a Galaxy Tab and a Galaxy phone during calls or music playback is effortless, without needing to adjust settings. This feature is notably rare for this price point, as indicated in a PCMag review. While improvements in app customization and water resistance would be ideal, if you are searching for reliable ANC, solid sound performance, and a beneficial Samsung integration, the Galaxy Buds FE present an appealing option, especially at this discounted rate.
