Admittedly, the Sony XM5 headphones represent an older iteration now that the XM6 model has been released, but purchasing slightly previous tech at a reduced price is appealing — particularly if it continues to perform well. Although the Sony WH-1000 XM6 may currently be considered top-tier ANC headphones at $428, the discounted price of $250 for the XM5 makes it irresistibly attractive.
