April promises an exciting lineup for Max subscribers, featuring highly anticipated new seasons of beloved shows. Kicking off the month is the fourth season of the Max Original comedy Hacks, where Jean Smart portrays an experienced comedian navigating the challenges of her career alongside young writer Hannah Einbinder. The premiere will unveil two episodes on April 10, with subsequent episodes released weekly, culminating in the season finale on May 29.

Additionally, the much-awaited second season of the HBO Original series The Last of Us will debut on April 13. This post-apocalyptic drama, inspired by the acclaimed video game, will continue the story five years after the first season’s conclusion, with Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey reprising their roles as Joel and Ellie, alongside Kaitlyn Dever as Abby. Viewers can look forward to weekly episodes, with all content also available in American Sign Language (ASL).

On the cinematic front, Max will introduce two films: A24’s Y2K, a disaster comedy set during the pivotal New Year’s Eve of 1999 on April 4, and Babygirl on April 25, featuring Nicole Kidman as a CEO entangled in an affair with her intern, played by Harris Dickinson.

Moreover, sports enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy, with Max presenting a range of live events, including regular NHL and NBA games, playoff matchups, and early-season MLB competitions.
