This May, Max is set to revive two beloved original comedy shows. Kicking off the lineup is the much-anticipated second season of Conan O’Brien Must Go, premiering on May 8. This unscripted travel series follows Conan as he reconnects with fans he previously met through his podcast, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend. Viewers can expect three new episodes to roll out weekly throughout the season.

On May 29, the Sex and the City sequel, And Just Like That…, returns for its third season. This series continues to follow the iconic characters from the original SATC as they navigate the complexities of life in their 50s within the vibrant city of New York.

On the cinematic front, Max will premiere the HBO original film Mountainhead on May 31. This feature stars an impressive cast including Steve Carell, Jason Schwartzman, Cory Michael Smith, and Ramy Youssef, revolving around a group of billionaire friends confronting a financial downturn. Written and directed by Succession‘s creator Jesse Armstrong, the film promises a captivating narrative. Additionally, on May 16, the Oscar-winning dramatic film The Brutalist from A24 will also be available for streaming.

Another highlight is the two-part documentary Pee-wee As Himself, set to premiere on May 23. This documentary narrates the life and career journey of Paul Reubens, the actor behind the iconic Pee-wee Herman character. Furthermore, the docu-series 100 Foot Wave will also make its return on May 1, delivering a third season with five episodes launching weekly.
