Exciting New Additions to Prime Video in April
As the month of April approaches, Prime Video is set to unveil a selection of original series and films, although a comprehensive list has not yet been provided. Among the highlights, Étoile, debuting on April 24, is an intriguing new series from the mind behind Gilmore Girls and the acclaimed The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. This drama-comedy revolves around the intense, competitive world of dance, exploring settings in both New York and Paris. The show consists of eight episodes and features familiar faces from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, including Luke Kirby and Gideon Glick.
For horror enthusiasts, The Bondsman, premiering on April 3, promises to be a thrilling journey featuring Kevin Bacon as a bondsman, who, after being killed, is revived by the devil to hunt down demons that have escaped from hell. Additionally, action fans will not want to miss the film G20 (available April 10), where Viola Davis stars as the U.S. president navigating a crisis during a terrorist takeover at the G20 summit.
In April, Prime Video will also introduce new seasons for two popular reality shows. Kicking off with America’s Test Kitchen: The Next Generation on April 1, this culinary competition challenges 11 aspiring chefs, overseen by host Jeannie Mai and judge Dan Souza, for a coveted position in America’s Test Kitchen. Toward the end of the month, style experts Clinton Kelly and Stacy London, known from What Not To Wear, will return for a fresh take on their makeover concept in Wear Whatever The F You Want (April 29).
