Exciting New Titles Coming to Prime Video in June
While Amazon has not unveiled an exhaustive list for Prime Video’s June lineup, several original productions are confirmed to debut this month.
Original Series and Films to Look Forward To
The action comedy Deep Cover, premiering on June 12, features an impressive ensemble cast including Bryce Dallas Howard, Orlando Bloom, Nick Mohammed, and Sean Bean. In this film, Howard portrays an improv comedy instructor who enlists her two students (played by Bloom and Mohammed) to masquerade as criminals in order to infiltrate London’s gangs.
Another intriguing addition is the crime thriller series Countdown, making its debut on June 25. This series, spearheaded by Chicago Fire showrunner Derek Haas, follows an LAPD detective who joins a covert task force to probe the homicide of a Department of Homeland Security officer. Additionally, We Were Liars, launching on June 18, delves into the psychological complexities surrounding the affluent Sinclair family during an eventful summer on their secluded island, based on E. Lockhart’s novel.
Moreover, the sports documentary American Thunder: NASCAR to Le Mans will also premiere on June 12, showcasing the effort to race the American stock car Chevrolet Camaro at the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans.
