Unveiling the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series
In January, Samsung unveiled its latest smartphone lineup, the Galaxy S25 Series. This collection consists of three models, with an additional variant teased a month later, which you can preorder now, accompanied by a $50 Amazon gift card, ahead of its release on May 30. Among these devices, the Galaxy S25 stands out as the entry-level option, now priced at a record low of $624.99, down from the original $799.99, as noted by price-tracking sources.
The S25 introduces enhancements over the S24; all four models feature the latest optimizations in the operating system, allowing access to premium attributes from One UI 7, which includes unique functionalities for managing media and notifications, even on the most affordable variant. Two of the standout features are the Now Bar and Now Brief, designed to deliver concise alerts tailored to user activities.
Equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, the S25 features a robust triple-camera setup, highlighted by a 50MP wide-angle lens, complemented by a 6.2-inch OLED display boasting a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device is supported by 12GB of RAM, with storage options starting at 128GB. Currently, the mint color variant holds the title for the lowest-priced option.
PCMag has rated the Galaxy S25 as “excellent” due to its impressive AI functionalities, vibrant display, commendable battery life, and superior build quality. Users can expect around 14 hours of performance from this smartphone. However, it is noteworthy that the device does not support the S Pen stylus. With dimensions of 5.78 by 2.78 by 0.28 inches, it’s an ideal choice for those seeking a compact smartphone.
